Materials Consultants is able to perform Texture Depth tests on the surface of roads. We also perform Layer Thickness tests. These can be done from embankment layers through to pavement layers and asphalt/seal measurements. This can be done by taking core samples, auger/digging holes through existing roads.
Materials Consultants can also perform Pavement Investigations and Site Investigations which combine Layer Thickness tests with many other tests from other disciplines within our “Scope of Accreditation”. These Investigations can be used by clients in the determination of design packages for projects about to be undertaken.
